Program Advisor and Online Success Coach
At Minnesota State, every student has access to a program advisor and an online success coach.
Your program advisor is your primary contact for academic advising needs. He/she is based out of your home campus and specializes in your program area. Your program advisor will assist you in:
- degree planning
- course selection
- exploring career opportunities
- other academic matters
Your online success coach acts as a secondary form of support to your program advisor. He/she is located at Minnesota State Ask Us and can:
- explain application and admissions processes
- discuss program/degree requirements
- guide in registering for classes and ordering books
- provide resources for financing education, determining transfer opportunities and career planning
- connect with appropriate campus contacts
- assist in accessing student accounts, including eServices, D2L Brightspace and email
- offer information about general policies and procedures at the college
