CareerForce works with MinnesotaWorks a no-fee online job bank for finding jobs and employees in Minnesota, where you can do a deeper job search, including create or upload an online resume, have employers contact you directly, and receive email notification of new postings. MinnesotaWorks.net is another resource from DEED.
Employer Services for Veterans operates through EED to provide employment assistance to Minnesota Veterans, Veterans Employment Representatives, located at CareerForce locations throughout the state, help Veterans prepare for, find an keep a job. The Minnesota Transition Assistant Program (TAP) can help you make the right choices. The TAP Workshop will help you access your life situation, set goals, and make career choices.
Apprenticeship in the skilled trades Trading your military uniform for that of a service technician is a transition that will bring the same feelings of pride, camaraderie and a heart for serving others. In some cases, you will receive credit for military service completed.
MN Helmets to Hardhats is a state funded, nonprofit that helps active, transitioning military, Veterans, National Guard, and Reserves find gainful employment in the construction building trades unions.

The Minnesota Department of Commerce supports the efforts of Veterans to get licensed in Minnesota for over 20 qualifying real estate and insurance occupations. CareerOneStop is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor. The Veteran and Military Transition Center is a one-stop website for employment, training, and financial help after military service. Tailored employment, education, and relocation resources are available for military spouses, as well.
Teachers on Call works with Saint Paul Public Schools as well as other districts all over MN by providing substitute teachers & educational assistants/paraprofessionals to serve the needs of the schools on a daily basis. We also fill positions such as food service, custodians, nurses, etc in various districts.
