Documentation for credit transfer

Sometimes, when evaluating courses for transfer, a college or university may request additional materials. Examples of this documentation may include a course outline, course syllabus, course text, sample texts, sample projects or portfolio.

The college or university is requesting this information in order to make a comparative analysis between the sending institution course(s) and the receiving institution course(s). Information about your course(s) will help to determine if the course covered equivalent material.

Technical credits may have a term after which they are not accepted in transfer anymore.  If your skills remain current by practice in the workforce, you can explore options for credit for prior learning or requesting test-out opportunities.
